Pope county to be exact?? Trying to locate a cemetery in the Shawnee Forest... We went over there last weekend and ask several people, a bunch of them knew where we were talking about but their directions lead us in circles.... The cemetery is called Story Cemetery, the grave we are hunting is Caroline Story, we know it says her name and TSI-TSA-LA-GI which translates to I Am Cherokee.. My mom is doing geneology research on our family and is really wanting to go see this particular grave...

You may find the information here using this link to the Pope County Historical society. If you don't, you can always contact them. I found the Historical Society in the counties in Illinois very helpful when researching my father's family. http://pope.illinoisgenweb.org/index.htm
