Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | I can't imagine all the transportation infrastructure that has been destroyed. I have cousins in and around Baldwin county and the pics they've been posting are unreal, it's like this all over the place down there. Did I hear right that I 10 is shut down? |

Parts of I-10 are shut down. I'm also in Baldwin County. I know for sure I-10 going across the AL/FL line is closed.
I had to drive to Pensacola this morning and the damage over there is just as bad if not worse than ours. |

Navarre also had significant damage. If I remember correctly that area is under a mandatory water boil notice, because of the damage. Certain areas are restricted from driving at all. The washouts and sink holes just have the roadways too dangerous. |

That is so terrible. The Panhandle is such a pretty area too. I have a cousin that lives in Navarre, and I haven't heard from her. |

If by some chance you are in a flash flood area and cannot take your livestock or horses please cut the corners of the fence and open gates. They say animals will follow the fence line till they find an opening. Also take pictures with you if the horses/cattle don't have brands to prove identification.

Location: No place better...East TN!! | My mom lives in Pensacola & she shared some pics with me yesterday.....the amount of destruction is awful. They declared a state of emergency yesterday & the Governor flew in to Pensacola. She was telling me that the water was off & when it came back on, it was black. Yuck.
People underestimate the power of water & it's unreal the amount of damage it can do in just a very short period of time. Prayers to everyone touched by this storm. |
