1/4 cup conditioner ( any kind)
1/4 cup baby oil
1/4 cup water
1 tbs vingar ( this optional)
I use a moisturizing conditioner to help the hair grow. I have been using this 3 days a week for 3 weeks and both the horses I'm using it on their hair has grown!!
1 part mouthwash 1 part baby oil 1 part conditioner 3 parts water. It is SUPER cheap if you buy the stuff at the dollar store. (These are actually the ONLY things I have ever bought at the dollar store!)
I mixed my hair conditioner half and half with water. I washed the tail first and then I worked this into the biggest knot I've ever tried to untangle. It worked great and I got a huge knot out of my gelding's tail. He had picked up a piece if baling wire. We had to cut the wire and pull it out with pliars before I could start on knot. I have used WD40 but I don't like the smell or the way it feels. It does work though.
