| I have all my horsey papers very organized and some how lost the papers to one of my mares. Not just any mare, but one that someone is coming and looking at tomorrow!! I don't know where it could have possibly gone...but now i'm in a pickle. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I DO need that, not just a transfer report if this buyers would like her, right? This has never happened to me before, can I just request a new one from AQHA? Going to call the guy when I get home and explain the situation. So mad at myself right now!!!!! | |

| It is a little to do to get papers, call aqha, I believe you have to pay a fee, sign an affidavit, and send in pictures of the horse to get them to issue new papers.

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | If they do want her, tell them about the papers. Also if you send the transfer in at the same time as the duplicate request, they will get their papers faster. I just bought 2 mares back in Feb and after mailing the check I hear that they had lost the papers (after the mares are delivered to my house too). They did a rush order on the duplicates and I just got them Friday. If these were mares I was planning to breed to an outside stallion I would have been royally screwed because no way am I paying an outside stud fee and all the vet charges on mares that are not in my name. | |
