Location: Okla | I went thru this also, after a vet check up my vet suggested trying Ventipulmin syrup. It's a syrup you give them in the mouth and it's sweet tasting-give it apx 3-5 hours before running. It's used on most race tracks on a daily basis according to my vet and she is one of the main vets for race tracks in Ok. It worked for my mare, it opens up the horses air ways so they can get more air into their lungs. You can get it almost at all places that sell equine supplies. Good luck |
