Psalm 84 Genuine worship is seeking God with everything we have; it is addictive because it reveals and results in life change!
So why worship? We worship because our heart is right. We realize that our strength for life is not our own and we must totally rely on God's strength. We worship because of God's faithfulness. We all journey through the "Valley of Baca" v 6 the valley of weeping. We endure hardships, trials , losses, and temptations, yet God proves His faithfulness by giving us strength to endure We worship because He allows us to serve Him, an we are overcome by the fact that our great God would allow us to serve Him. We proclaim that one day of fellowship is a thousand times better than anything else. Finally, we worship because of His provision and protection " for the Lord God is a sun and shield" v 11 god provides restoration and protection in the journey of life.
Are you weary and weak? Are you overwhelmed by life? Then worship Him and receive the power to overcome the things that are weighing you down.
Psalm 84: 5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You; whose heart is set on pilgrimage. 12 O Lord of Hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in You!
For It is WITH God ALL things are possible.
