Is either parent a palamino? Looks like a pali to me.

Sage was that color as a baby, even the pink nose. Not blue eyed though. Anyway she's apallie now that she's grown. She gets "white" in the winter and is not the darkest of golden during the summer

Her sire is buckskin & her dam is a blue roan that carries a creme gene. My thought is palomino, but I didn't know if the blue eyes & pick skin would make a difference.

what about perlino - doesn't AQHA have a color chart/description of the traits and such?

There is no genetic possibility for that cross to produce a perlino.

I went to AQHA site found in search under color of horses-  Perlino and Cremelo is pink skin with blue eyes.   I'm not disagreeing here just remembered reading about this coloring.
Far as I'm conserned the foal is a blue roan with dark head, mane and tail.

Since both sire and dam carry the cream gene, perlino is possible.  Is there any Champagne in the bloodlines?

Not that I know of I thought the color looked like perlino but wouldn't one of the parents have to have dun factor for that??
I can tell you all about roan but I know nothing about creme

I don't think she is light enough to be a perlino. Perlino doesn't have anything to do with dun factor-just double dilute bay. I think she is a palomino and I bet the eye color changes.

My guess is palomino. My mom had a Pali that was light like that with a light red dorsal stripe. He was a neat color. I'm on my phone or I'd attach a pic. She's very pretty. I added this pic of him.  He has a dorsal stripe and stripes on his legs like a dun.  Dunalino maybe?

Definitely not a perlino. Their born white. Id say palomino. Its hard to tell at that age tho. My chestnut was born a bright red. And a sorrel I had was born chestnut but shed off sorrel.

My Dunalino filly was that color when she was born. Her color is changing

ETA: Her eyes were very light too, but have gotten darker as she's getting older.
