Today is World Ovarian Cancer Day & I just wanted to take a minute to maybe bring some awareness!
My sister passed away in September 2012 at only 34 years old from this horrible, silent disease. It isn't detectable through your regular pap smear testing & symptoms should be taken seriously. My sister fought a long, hard battle & she was such a strong fighter & so brave that God decided to make her an Angel!
PINK isn't the only cancer....TEAL is the DEAL!! Think outside the bra ladies & Help the Hoo-Hahs!!!

So sorry for your loss and prayers for you! Glad you shared!
Thank you & I hope I can help at least one person become aware of this horrible disease. Most people think breast cancer is the only cancer women need to be seriously aware of, but there are so many more that effect women.

I'm a ovarian cancer Survivor for the past 6 1/2 years. I never really had the symptoms but went in because we hadn't had any children yet. The doc. found a mass and sent me to Mayo for more testing. I had a complete hysterectomy on Sept. 6, 2007 where luckily everything was taken care of and I was declared free and so far so good with no reoccurance.
