I have a gelding in to start on barrels. I have no experience with Valdasher or Dashing Val horses. He out of a Willie Wanna Dash mare. I haven't pushed him hard yet, but I am looking to find out how trainable they are. Are they hot, heardheaded, smart, willing? He seems to just be an average horse at this point.
Does anyone have experience with any of these bloodlines?

Really, really liked Dashing Val. He stood by my house for a few years...and Vals Fortune was soooooo nice. I loved, loved to watch him race. Dr. Luv on here had Dashing Val when he passed and can tell you a lot about him.

Don't know much about the Valdasher's, but I had Dashing Val when he died. We probably have 8 or 9 daughters and palomino stallion we will be standing next yea. They can be pretty hot and some are buckers in the beginning, but when they quit all of the nonsense, they are really talented and have lots of speed.
