If a horse had stringhalted really bad (been 10 years) after a big barrel race - been trail rode and brood mare since then - can it come back to be a barrel horse again or is it something that just pops up again unexpectedly?

You got a video?

I've got a mare that has fibrotic myopathy, which is only noticeable at a trot. She slaps her hind left leg down when she walks, it doesn't hinder her performance nor is she in pain.

No, no video. It's a horse I'm going to look at.

If you haven't seen the horse in person or a video be careful. Some cases are horrible, thankfully my mare's case isn't bad and she still moves great.
