I'm looking at purchasing a pretty palomino mare to breed to our cutting bred stud and then run barrels on her. She's currently green broke. What do you think? Her full brother is a 2D barrel horse in KY that an 80 year old man trained and ran at the AQHA Select World Show.

our stud is http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/royal+lena+rock

What do you know about horses in her pedigree? What do you think of the cross with her and our stud? He puts a lot of bone/foot, rate/natural collection, and athletic ability in his foals - he's won NCHA money and has foals that are roping and cutting.

The mare's papers are not my cup of tea. I would pass.

Thanks for the input everyone! I decided to pass on the mare. I agree with you ladies, I'm concerned there's not quite enough run in her to do/produce what I'd want. Thanks for your help BBs! :)
