Every one of us has a certain amount of days, hours, minutes, seconds before we leave this journey on Earth. Each and every day we use up very precious and valuable moments. That reality is exactly what Moses has in mind as he thought about the death sentence on the Israelites. Moses brought to light two major problems that are still problems for us today.
First problem is sin; He wrote Psalm 90: 7-8, " You have set our iniqui9ties before You, our secret sins in the light of Your countenance " Even though life is short, sin is in no short supply Moses reminds us there is no secret sin. Whatever you feel is hidden is already exposed with God. And in a world that excuses and abuses sin, God only judges sin. The words Moses used in regard to sin are "anger" and "wrath"
Second, Moses knew that their days were numbered and that they would perish in the desert. Their disobedience brought the judgment of God.
How did Moses respond? He PRAYED! What did he ask for? Mercy, joy, work, and God's presence.
Life is fleeting! But what makes for a good life is the mercy and forgiveness of God found in Jesus Christ. Find joy in the work He called you to do, and experience God's presence as you spend time with Him each day.
FOR IT IS WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE
HAVE A VERY BLESSED WEDNESDAY
Someone put on facebook, if you could ask God one question what would it be?
