| I am a serious buyer looking for the right horse. I won't waste your time if you don't waste mine. I've been looking for 2 years now for a horse that's a good fit for me. I've drove several hours to try horses. It seems like this year I've been really excited about going to try a horse but several times sellers aren't willing to send me a current video of the horse or they are so wishy washy about selling and say they don't want to sell etc but yet the horse is listed for sale either on here, facebook, or other sites. That completely wastes my time.
If you are asking 15k or under which is my budget, then why won't you send me a current video of your horse for sale without getting nasty? I understand there are tire kickers but if I am going to pay that much for a horse then the seller needs to do their part!! Don't advertise your horse without a video expecting a buyer to donate $300+ in fuel money to drive to go see them. A simple riding video or a breeze through the pattern tells me if I am even interested. Okay that is my yearly vent!!!!!
I highly respect sellers who take the time to do their part!!! |

You mean as far as distance traveled or me being picky? |

| What are you hoping to find for 15k? In Texas there is talent out there for that price if you have the skill and time to develope it. I have sold a few horses and it has not bothered me to make and send any video perspective buyers have requested. . |

Tank sold for just under 15K… talk about deal of the century for someone.
We always make UTD videos on our horses. I also send X-rays, pictures of every requested angle, pictures of any scars or what not…
OP I agree, maybe you need to re evaluate what you are looking for and what you expect for your budget.
I also agree with rodeomom3- you can find something nice for around 15K if you know where to look and know when you find a steal of a deal. I think we have only paid over 15K twice on horses, and to be honest, the cheaper ones have been more fulfilling! I wouldn't trade my girl that we paid 25K for the world…but I know the money we spent hung over my head way more than the cheaper ones we stumbled upon. |

What your capabilities are. What your expectations are in the horse, etc. if you haven't found a horse in 2 years, then you need to reevaluate you and your expectations in the horse.
Yes distance would be one
If you are looking for a specific color, quit, color doesn't change the horse.
If you are looking for a sound, sane, solid, 1d horse that is push button, you probably won't find one in that price range.
If you are looking for a sane solid, older horse that requires no maintenance, and will pass a vet check with flying colors probably won't find one either.
I can see how some people dont have current pictures/videos. Sometimes in the winter people can't get current pictures/videos if the horse is not conditioned. I wouldn't risk an injury to send someone a current video. But I wouldn't be advertising a not conditioned horse.

Location: Oklahoma | My ads always have current videos and I have several in that price range....my website also has current videos. I always try to have 4 pictures of each. I sell a lot of horses in that price range. Maybe you are just looking at the wrong people's horses. I've sold 3 in the last two weeks, so must be doing something right. |
