I am wondering about acuscope therapy for diagnosing lameness issues. Has anyone used it? How did it work? Any other thoughts and opinions???? Also does anyone know of anyone who does acuscope in the Midwest or know how I find someone who uses it. Thanks!
I just started using Acuscope on my horses--but not for diagnosing lameness. My older guy was out of whack from pulling back one day--hadn't run good 2 times in a row so I knew something was up.
Started the treatments and let a lot of tension out of muscles in his neck and over his sacral & SI joints. CRAZY amount of tension. Had him chiro'ed as well so he's on his way back to good.
I LOVE acuscope & my girl is really good. Not sure how you'd find someone. I can see if she can find someone who does it in your area--where exactly are you located?
Contact Animal Therapy Systems - they do the training program and have a list of certified therapists. I know they have someone in Texas, Oklahoma, lots of other places. Where are you located?

The acuscope is an amazing therapy and has helped my horses immensely, but it is NOT a diagnostic. You can start treatments and it will only benefit your horse's well being. But get into the vet and find out what is really going on, then pass that info onto the therapist.
I am in southern Iowa. From what I have understood it can tell you where they are sore so you can then investigate further into what is causing the soreness.
