You guys who ride in cutters, where do you find smaller ones?! I never see anything under 16". Just a curiosity post

I had a barrel saddle made on cutting tree by Ricky Green. So far very happy with it. I did run it for the first time last weekend on a horse that sits very hard. Felt secure as anything. I had a 15 made as I do not like my saddle to be to small so you can not move in it. Im 5.8 and 120lb. Did run in my friends 16.5 cutting saddle that was a little big

I had one made by Circle G. Absolutely great saddle. Very well built and super quality leather. Just a lot less expensive than the big named one because you're not paying for a brand.

I ride a 15.5 Joey Jemison.  I LOVE the saddle and where it places me.  As far as finding the smaller seated ones, a 15.5 or 15 is about the smallest thing you'll find without having something built.  I've ridden nearly every barrel saddle out there, except the new Martin FX3 which i'm wanting to try, but nothing sits like my Jemison so far.

I have a Roohide and I love it! Definitely worth the money. Mine's like a 16 or 17 so I don't have a smaller one but I like it to be a little bigger. But I obviously don't use it for barrels!

Peecans

They are diffently around. I used to ride in a 15 and a 14.5 the thing with the cutters is they like them big so they can really role thier pelvis and be able to move freely and never get stuck by the saddle. The tell tale "cutters slouch" lol
i wish i could remove the name brand of the one saddle I rode in the most I loved that saddle.

I also had to ride in lots of 16 and 17 in saddles not my choice I slid around a bit in thoes. (My barrel saddles are 14)

Here's my saddle.  15.5 Joey Jemison cutter.  Only thing i'd change is the slick seat to rough out, other than that I love the way it rides and fits my horse!
