I'm looking at a used 2009 Cimarron Norstar Living Quarters Trailer and wondered what you all thought about the quality of these trailers. I have owned quite a few other brands in the past, but don't know much about these so can you guys let me know what you think about the Cimarrons?
Thanks!

It would depend on who did the conversion.

I LOVE my Cimarron LQ.  We have had 4 of them- a 3H, 6H another 3H for college daughter and I now have a 4h.  They are one of the better built trailers.  Great welds,  strong floors and love the insulated roof, windows and doors work great, one handed easy latches on the stall dividers that have no parts that can stick your horse.  Mine is a 2006 LQ that was done by Cowboy Conversions as a show trailer for an AQHA show.  I bought it used in 2008, have had 0 problems with it.

I just bought a used 2007 Cimmaron and I am really liking it so far.  I agree with above it seems to be very well built from doors, to latches to drop down.  Just very good quality.  I honestly can't remember who did the living quarter part.  Sierra is coming to mind.  I too love the insulated roof.  Was at a show last weekend and it poured rain pretty much all night the one night and I barely heard it.  In my exiss I would have been awake all night.  So far I'm very happy with it.

I bought a 2006 last summer and love my trailer.  I have hauled in Platinums and Elites and would put this trailer up there with them on build with the bonus of the insulated roof, which makes a huge difference in the summertime.  As far as LQ, like someone said, it depends on the conversion company.  I don't know who did mine, they're in Missouri and P&P was the dealer, but it's very well done and in pristine condition.

I believe mine is a 2007 and we love it.  If I ever get to upgrade to a bigger one, we plan on getting another Cimarron.

I'm on my 3rd one... I LOVE them. Had a 3H w/10' shortwall, have a 2H Warmblood BP and a 3H w/ 14' shortwall with a 10' slide out now. Great made trailers! I don't think you can go wrong with a Cimarron. :)

Looks like they are out of Indiana which use to be the travel trailer manufacturer hub. They sure look nice but I had never heard of them.
