I ran a lot against a really nice one years ago. She was fast and gritty, but prone to sore stifles. She was very straight through the stifle and someone told me that was common with Burnells, but I don't know that for a fact.

I had a burnell filly and I loved her. She would really give me all she had. Her problem... she would slow lope great around the barrels.. add a little speed.. she was great.. but when you called on her she was so rough around the barrels she would cause you physical pain from jerking around the barrels... stifle issue?? now that I think of it... I guess that is something that could have caused it. I sold her before I dumped a ton of $$$ in her.
