No, sorry. But my mare tore her superficial digital flexor tendon and has been off for a year. I do remember that my brother's friend in high school severed or tore his achilles and I remember he had surgery and was on crutches for months.

My high school volleyball coach had to have surgery to repair her Achilles after she SNAPPED IT IN TWO during a scrimmage. I will NEVER forget that sound. And yes, she was on crutches and in a boot for a loooooooooong time.

No surgery for me.... YET!! They thought I had a tear in mine two years ago but ended up just doing PT. It honestly hurts 3/4 of the time (even though I still stretch and do the exercises) but I'd prefer this over surgery I think!! Did you tear yours?? My uncle tore his and they had to dig in his calf muscle to find it again...that thought just makes me want to curl in a ball!!
