| Here are two of our Howelling Corona foals, first 17 day old dun filly out of a Doc Olena Isle Bar mare. She is really looking nice doing very well on ground work already and boy can that girl fly...first time standing to be tied it was a 5 min hissy fit then accepted everything very well. could not be more proud!
The other 17 day old filly (both born the same day)
Iis out of a cremello mare margarita by choice, this buckskin filly is gorgeous and has the same mind stands to be tied and doing well on ground work already.

| Nice babies!! Howling should add some speed and size to them too.
Babies that age are on a 15 minute eating routine with their mama's ... so think twice on tying them up for
two hours at a time ... could create some problems you don't want to happen .... just teach them to give to a halter and follow along with a butt rope and leave the big stuff to learn after weaning ...
You have the first buckskins I have seen by a son of Corona Cartel ... of course I realize the color came from their dams ... just saying ....^^^ |

| You are right......that is why the two hours were not consecutive, it was done over two hours 15 min intervals. But thank you for sharing that, someone could read it and think it is ok to tie a young foal up for two full hours uninterupted.
I love this little dun filly looks so much like daddy.

| First crop was one foal....a paint tobiano colt. (test breed) Owner has commented on how easy her colt has been to learn new things, it will be 2 in two months. a breeze to control on the ground but not broke yet of course. |

| I love both of them, he improved the cremello mares steep shoulder and gave the foal that nice shoulder of his. nice short backs, and that hind end! Love these girls! Each one is so perfect for its breeding. I love these foals.

| I love her, so balanced, awesome shoulder and that short back and hanging hip....She is gorgeous. Do you think she will stay bay or turn dark brown? she looks so muscled up for a month old. Thank you for sharing her. She is really nice. She is such a rich red color.

She is shedding out brown. No red in the new hair. She still has that patch of black on top of her buns with a dorsal stripe. She is getting friendlier too. Love her to death. |
