Hey everyone! My living quarters trailer that I haul in the most is a kinda stock combo 4 horse with slants, now I love my trailer because it stays really cool in the back but the mating is just not up to par. We don't have any mats that go up the wall or anything (hence the whole stock combo thing lol) and my pea brained barrel horse and goat horse tend to bang their legs on the walls. My roping horse doesn't do it as much as the other two but I'd still like to find some way to protect all threes legs while making the long treks to junior rodeos all over creation. Eventually we will find time to go get some proper padding installed by I don't see that on the calendar labeled "In the Near Future", so until that time rolls around I need some suggestions on how to keep my guys legs safe while hauling. It might be cheaper to just get the walls done. You could do one wall at a time and get the wall they bang themselves the most on covered with rubber. Probably wouldn't be too much and it would be a quick install. Maybe call the local trailer dealer and see how much they'd charge. I'm sure it would be a quick trip to the trailer dealer and shouldn't take them more than a day.

The only problem is i don't have time, i've been looking into standing wraps and stuff i just dont now that much about it. I go to a rodeo or barrel racce just about every weekend and our trailer dealer is 5 hours away and i dont have my license yet lol or else i would go do it myself but my dad is a rancher and has to kinda look over things during the week.

We've used those wraps that Classic Equine has....like those padded standing wraps. But they always end up falling down no matter what we do. That's why we just send them in naked. Where are they nicking themselves?

On the front of their front legs, our trailer was mad for polo horses so it's long and they don't really do it on their back legs. But like the cannon bone area and knee is usually what's torn up, the only thing I worry about with standing wraps or shipping boots or something is will it put strain on their tendons.
