| Last fall I got my old mare back that I had own 12 yrs ago loved her never figured out why I ever sold her, so I have 3 mares and 1 gelding. The gelding was used as a stud for 4yrs but he has been gelded for 5, now he has been with the other two mare for the last two yrs with no problem. Mare 3 came into the picture and she is a slut by every means she come into hard heat and it like every two weeks and she winks back into him and you get the picture. Well he has had it he has bite her ran her into fences, mounted her. I need some ways of keeping her out of heat she is 22 and I am not into babies. Was using raspberry leafs they worked for awhile but they are not keeping her out of heat anymore. My vet will not do the marbles she said that it does not always work. Please help me with some idea, small acreage so I con not separate. |
