Location: Texas | She's not so new anymore, since I got her back in February… We've done fairly well, no worse than 2D except for one run when I first got her. She can get strong leaving the alley and shake her head at the first, so if I miss my spot we can go by and lose time...and thats when we run mid 2D. We won a race back in March then school got busy so I have only ran her a few times since then and now.
I ran her last Saturday at a benefit race and tried a new theory- leave her alone! She can shake her head at the first barrel and can run really hard to it.. so the combination of running hard and shaking her head can make for an ugly first. I decided to try just putting my hand down once I felt her rate, and it worked! We won 2nd in the 1D and ran one of the only two 14s of the day. It was a decent sized race with around 140ish runners. I had just called in to a few rodeos earlier in the week and was scared I may have jumped the gun... now I feel a little better!

Thank you :) :)
I think it's interesting how things happen when you least expect it. I never would have thought I would find a horse like her, especially under the circumstances.

Thank you! She and I fit very well so far… I like her style for sure! I'm not the best on push type horses. I can ride them, but do better on more freed up horses |

Hey I've gone through a decent amount of horses to find this one! And we spent some money on one of them… I just saw her ad, had a gut feeling we needed to jump on it… sent it to my friend and her husband was hooking up their trailer to go get her for me that day… The girl promised she wouldn't sell her out from under me and scheduled for me to come see her on a Friday. Still think my friends husband was hooking up the trailer to pick her up for me anyway…We tried her that Friday and the minute I walked off on her back I knew we had to have her. |

| Killer run!
I have a couple questions if you dont mind...
Why did the original owner sell the horse?
Was she sold as a project or running in the 4/3/2Ds?
How broke was she and how broke is she now? |
