So I sold a little 3 yo we had last weekend after not even two minutes on facebook Awesome right? Make arrangements to meet and hand off the 3 yo on sunday. Go to a big family birthday bash saturday... All the while we are soooo sick. Sunday the flus got me. Blah. 3yo tried to break her leg apparently but we load and go... Now ive been on the hunt for the "horse" for a while withe money to burn in the 2500.00 range. Ended up with a nice filly pretty spoiled hurt my pride and confidence... more than it already was ha ha.
On the way to deliver a post on the facebook group pops up. I say hey mom ( shes my copilot when i golong distances with my little boys 3 yo and 6 months)---read it to her--- decide hey if shes in north las vegas lets look.... Im weak as a kitten, feeling carsick, no riding clothes seriously flats hollister low rise.... yeah not dressed for success but comfy. Oh, my boys have tragic colds to boot.
Girl says oh yeah just a few minutes in... kinda excited... lots of ops that the mare rocks but warned bad in the alley. Almost didnt go. Show up and the mare has me "oh yeah" just racking up points. I bust out there in my girly attire not to weak to climb on but whincing at my splitting head...
I havent loped in three years or trotted for that matter. Ive been battling "the fear" that came with my kids of getting hurt... Three rides later I bout got it mastered. moral of the story is when its meant to be it will be dont get in a hurry fyi hubby loves the younger filly

I think i was definitely a little drugged on cold meds because I still cant believe I have another horse in the corrals. But hey if your even in a bind and need a cheeseburger ill help a chick out
