I have a buckle I like that I want to turn into a centerpiece on a breast collar. Guess I just need to have some chicago screws soldered on it. Anyone had this done before, where did you take it? I'm in central Oklahoma.

I had my buckle modified by Gist since they were the buckle maker. It cost about $60 I think to have it done (it's been a few years). I was going to have it mounted on a breastcollar but ended up just zip tying it on. I had a friend who had her buckle changed and then took her breastcollar to a leather guy and he put it on permanently but it was almost $100 to do that and it can never be changed.

I hadn't thought about having a ring like that attached, I like that. It's not a trophy buckle though so I can't contact the maker to have them put it on.

I've seen it a few times, not so much in the past 10 years, but I always wanted to do that with the first belt buckle I won but I'm too afraid I'll never wear it on my belt again if I do change it so it could fit on a breast collar :/

There is a girl in our area who had her buckels custom made like that (to have the attatchment ring) and then had a local leather worker attach them permanently. Her's look great!
