Location: Florida.. | I think its BS he did this behind closed doors.. behind everyone in Washington.. its treason at it finest per someone said.....The guy deserted the troops... walked away... and palin wrote this...".... Barak Obama just released Islamic terrorists from GITMO, exchanging the murderers for a soldier who ended up in enemy hands five years ago amidst unexplained circumstances. Obama glowingly suggests now that he succeeded in negotiating with terrorists to seal the deal, violating America's agreement with our allies that we would not be so reckless, short-sighted and stupid as to negotiate w...ith terrorists – and now these Islamists who hate us are free to go about their business of killing us. Meanwhile, we have a U.S. Marine detained in Mexico who is ignored by Obama ""
– and this is what we exchanged him for...

Location: Riding Crackhead. | My husband and I talked a little about this topic this morning watching GMA. I either missed the part where he was a deserter or they didn't touch on that on the broadcast. If he was a deserter than I have a huge problem with this and the fact that 6 soldiers lost their lives looking for him plus they released 5? prisoners that we had in exchange for this guy. If he was a true prisoner of war then that would shed a little different light on this for me. |

I do take exception to the member's of Congress squalling because they weren't notified before the hand off. I suppose they wanted to debate it for a few weeks. They couldn't get anything done without debate even if their pant's were on fire! |

Location: Displaced Iowegian | Of all of the dastardly deeds that Obama has committed, this, BY FAR, is the most dangerous to our safety. He released five prisoners who were known to be VERY high up in the ranks of the taliban for ONE (supposed prisoner.
And, as much as I think that the members of Congress are a bunch of "nutcases"....they ARE correct.....they should have been notified because they would NOT have allowed this to happen. Additonally, I fear that, NOW, that we have set the precedent of "negotiating" with known terrorists, it will snow ball into MORE captures for negotiation. |

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | Well he did campaign saying he would empty and close Gitmo...just didn't think he'd do it by capitulating with terrorists in exchange for a deserter that declared his disdain for the US military in an email shortly before he was "captured". While inprisoned he drank tea and taught his captors to play badminton...while some of his brothers in arms died trying to free him.
This has "really bad idea" written all over it. Forgive my cynical nature...but I'm guessing these fine gentlemen will not be going back with an improved opinion of us...nor will they be grateful for release. They have had plenty of time to plot and plan revenge. And this idiot in chief will no doubt blame someone else if the worst happens and it's learned that any of these guys were involved.

| A true prisoner of war is one who gets taken from the battle field as a prisoner, not one that walked away from his camp, against orders, in the middle of the night , only to be picked up on the road by the enemy. The real unjustice here is going to be if the Army does not deal with him like they would any other deserter. Oh, but I bet Obama will not hear of that. What this does is make every American all over the world a target, not just the military. I'm sure the Taliban think this is too good to be true. I'm sure they're planning their first kidnapping right now. This was only a smoke screen to get our attention off of the VA scandal. But I'm going to bet the fall out from this prisoner exchange will not hit until we get into the next administration, and Obama will never be blamed. |

There are ways of implanting tracking devices in these men without their knowing it. Assuming this is the case, these guys could lead us to many other high level leaders. Maybe this sounds too far fetched, but the level of sophisticated technology that is being used by our intelligence operatives has to be mind-boggling. If these 5 can be tracked, it's not hard to imagine how useful that could prove to be. |

I watched the press conference with is parents and after all of the BS...They said they hadn't spoken with their son. Really? This throws up red flags to me. The father said it's going to be a slow process to let their son get use to being home and they don't know if he can even speak English anymore. Sounds like an excuse and this family is dysfunctional. Any mother I know would have been on a plane to Germany to see their son. |

Location: NC | He's a traitor. A deserter. Who is "ashamed to be American". Guys who were over there when it happened, within his unit and beyond, have all said the exact same thing: HE DESERTED HIS POST WHILE ON DUTY. He left his post!!! He endangered the lives of everyone on that base. THEN we lost 6 men trying to look for his nasty disgusting cowardly self.
There are far better ways to go about getting out of a deployment than to just walk away. If he was really a true POW, they would've killed him. Because he would have resisted! But being as his entire family is very un-American, my guess is he didn't even put up a fight. Went along with everything.
It was their plan all along. They get 5 "leaders", he gets to be hailed as a hero. I wonder when/what he will attack when he gets back to the States. He's probably a recruit of theirs. That's my thoughts. |

That is a big IF, but the same words that came out of my husbands mouth. He wasn't sure Obama would have the balls to order it, and lets not forget these 5 are probably the highest ranking leaders of the Taliban and we had them already, they will not lead us anywhere, but they will have the ability to order attacks and mastermind the death of many. As far as this taking away from the VA deal, let's not forget the VA has been a mess as long as we can remember, I cannot blame Obama for it's mess, it has been a long time in the making. I am thrilled that most of America has it's eye on this Bergdahl release....it makes zero sense, unless your the family who has been praying for it. Some of the stuff I am reading makes me hope they go into hiding for awhile, there are some very p issed off Americans. |

| I think there is a lot more to this story. We didn't care 2 cents about this guy for 5 years. Why now? My guess is either that he was giving up information and the US Govt wanted to get him back and debrief him. Or even something like someone else mentioned that there is strategy behind releasing the five Al Qaeda guys.
Some uproar is deserved, but to me honestly, its just the media's way to make a month's worth of advertising dollars $$$$$ by screaming negativity to the masses.

Forwarded from XXXXXX. "We were at OP Mest, Paktika Province, Afghanistan. It was a small outpost where B Co 1-501st INF (Airbone) ran operations out of, just an Infantry platoon and ANA counterparts there. The place was an Afghan graveyard. Bergdahl had been acting a little strange, telling people he wanted to "walk the earth" and kept a little journal talking about how he was meant for better things. No one thought anything about it. He was a little “out there”. Next morning he's gone. We search everywhere, and can't find him. He left his weapon, his kit, and other sensitive items. He only took some water, a compass and a knife. We find some afghan kids shortly after who saw an american walking north asking about where the taliban are. We get hits on our voice intercepter that Taliban has him, and we were close. We come to realize that the kid deserted his post, snuck out of camp and sought out Taliban… to join them. We were in a defensive position at OP Mest, where your focus is to keep people out. He knew where the blind spots were to slip out and that's what he did. It was supposed to be a 4-day mission but turned into several months of active searching. Everyone was spun up to find this guy. News outlets all over the country were putting out false information. It was hard to see, especially when we knew the truth about what happened and we lost good men trying to find him. PFC Matthew Michael Martinek, Staff Sgt. Kurt Robert Curtiss, SSG Clayton Bowen, PFC Morris Walker, SSG Michael Murphrey, 2LT Darryn Andrews, were all KIA from our unit who died looking for Bergdahl. Many others from various units were wounded or killed while actively looking for Bergdahl. Fighting Increased. IEDs and enemy ambushes increased. The Taliban knew that we were looking for him in high numbers and our movements were predictable. Because of Bergdahl, more men were out in danger, and more attacks on friendly camps and positions were conducted while we were out looking for him. His actions impacted the region more than anyone wants to admit. There is also no way to know what he told the Taliban: Our movements, locations, tactics, weak points on vehicles and other things for the enemy to exploit are just a few possibilities. The Government knows full well that he deserted. It looks bad and is a good propaganda piece for the Taliban. They refuse to acknowledge it. Hell they even promoted him to Sergeant which makes me sick. I feel for his family who only want their son/brother back. They don’t know the truth, or refuse to acknowledge it as well. What he did affected his family and his whole town back home, who don’t know the truth. Either way what matters is that good men died because of him. He has been lying on all those Taliban videos about everything since his “capture”. If he ever returns, he should be tried under the UCMJ for being a deserter and judged for what he did. Bergdahl is not a hero, he is not a soldier or an Infantryman. He failed his brothers. Now, sons and daughters are growing up without their fathers who died for him and he will have to face that truth someday." The men that wrote this post were there. |

| I think it's a conspiracy. Bergdahl was reported to have went looking for the Taliban, interacted and joked with them, played with and taught children games and was well taken care of; his father speaks Arabic and Islamic and makes public posts that are in support of releasing murdering terrorists. I think it was planned all along- America plays into a heart throb story of a clean cut American POW while the alleged POW un doubtfully supplied the Taliban with Army intelligence and operation tactics. At the end of this ordeal, the US releases the 5 terrorists and we get a traitor back. Any guesses on how soon this family goes back to living under the rock, off the radar and disappears? I believe he will be out of the news headlines very quickly. It's people like this that enable terrorism on US land and I believe in the future we will have another attack that this family will be tied to.

Location: Bastrop, Texas | Assuming these guys can be traced, it would provide immensely valuable information on the whereabouts of terrorist hideouts, their patterns, and innumerable associates. If all 5 of these guys were whacked, for sure someone else would step up and fill their shoes. If they are alive they could be much more valuable. I'm just speculating here because in matters like this I believe all isn't what it appears to be in situations like this. Basically, these guys could unwittingly serve as double agents working for us. For instance, let's say a given "tagged" terrorist is tracked to a hotel in Zurich, and CIA operatives photograph him with other men who are then themselves followed.....ultimately back to the US. That could lead to the uncovering of terrorist "cells" right here at home, already in the process of plotting attacks....possibly the next big one. It would seem to me that the widespread outrage that follows the "release" of these terrorists would serve to motivate the terrorists to get the former GITMO detainees back in the game, sooner, rather than later.....sort of as a thumb in the eye of the US, and our allies. I think this could end up being a brilliant move, but I doubt it would be the result of Obama's imagination. He would just go along with it.
Anyway, for decades things like this have taken place. If you read about espionage in WWII you would be fascinated. The CIA other intelligence agencies use the media as a means of miscommunication, and misdirect enemies all the time. |

Location: Texas | Bergdahl is a traitor and a deserter. He abandoned his post and is responsible for the deaths of many members of the armed forces. I have no respect for him, and I have no respect for his family. I have many more thoughts and very strong opinions in regards to Bergdahl, his family, and the Commander in Chief and would love to offer them but will not due to my own affiliation in the armed forces.
One last note, he does not even come close to deserving the title of 'hero' that so many people have naively bestowed upon him. Bergdahl is no better than the lowest scum on the earth.

I still cannot wrap one brain cell around the fact that he will not face any charges when he comes home. This has me baffled. HE should be held accountable for his actions. He has recieved two promotions while being held, which is S.O.P, but what if he decides he wants to stay in the military?

They refuse to acknowledge it. and the washington men do nothing but alllow this.. what is this relation to carney stepping down anyone know or does it?
This^^.
There's too much not making sense about all of this...like RSS said - we haven't cared about this guy for 5 years. Why now? One thing I have learned is that Obama does NOTHING that does not benefit Obama. He couldn't care less about our soldiers, the military, America itself - except in relation to how it benefits him. So how does he gain from this? He's no longer worried about popularity...he's a lame duck president - he knows this is it, short of setting himself up as dictator. So what is his end game?
The naive part of me - the part that grew up watching "Scarecrow & Mrs King" and other spy shows wants to believe that this was an elaborate set up from the beginning. A way to plant an American soldier in the Taliban to maybe learn their secrets...a way to track these leaders that were released in hopes of finally bringing down the Taliban once and for all.
The far-too-cynical part of me - the part that has taken over more & more of my psyche since Obama was first elected - wonders if we haven't just invited the fox back into the henhouse. Wonders if we haven't just declared open season on every American now that the whole world realizes that Obama will indeed negotiate with terrorists & will bypass Congress if need be.
All I know is that I don't trust anyone in Washington right now - Democrat or Republican. I know that I don't trust the civilian (I refuse to call him a soldier) that we're getting back...anymore than I trust the 5 Taliban officers that were released. I know that I respectfully disagree with those that claim it's just the media stirring up sh**...a precedent has been set with this - a very dangerous precedent.
And yes...I believe that the President committed treason and should be impeached - but unlike FH I also believe that it will never happen. I "believe" more...but I think I've ranted enough. |

So do I. But I'm going to wait until there is more reliable information out. So far it sounds like a bunch of sour grapes.
I do take exception to the member's of Congress squalling because they weren't notified before the hand off. I suppose they wanted to debate it for a few weeks. They couldn't get anything done without debate even if their pant's were on fire!
....and here is the problem with congress.... I you allow them to debate ANYTHING, you can rest assured it will not get done properly... |

| HotbearLVR - 2014-06-02 11:41 AM I really wonder if there isn't more to this story. These 5 guys sound like very high level Taliban operatives. To me, that is very conspicuous.
I really can't imagine Obama being willing to do it though..........I think this is the most offensive , unbelievable, and indefensive thing he has done. CRAZY! I really think his goal is to bring America down |

He didn't bother to talk to our media but did add to his conversation that these five may very well return to terror activities. Good job Barack.
Interestingly, the far left lunatic Chris Matthews (yes I went crazy and watched MSNBC for five minutes) is totally outraged over this trade.

| CYA Ranch - 2014-06-02 10:37 AM My husband and I talked a little about this topic this morning watching GMA.
You aren't going to get all the facts by watching GMA. I can't stand Stephanopolis the weasel. |

That was just heart wrenching to read. I would love to think there was a "bigger plan" to all of this as some of you have mentioned but I just don't think this administration is that smart. I still believe Obama has always had plans to destroy this country and now I'm afraid all Americans are fair game now that we are negotiating with terrorists. I hope that all of the families involved in this are able to fine peace. |

Bergdahl still belongs to his unit. It will be up to the Battalion commander to start the procedure. I hope he has to get in line. |

My only thought is that America does NOT negotiate. It has worked for generations and our fore fathers honored that.
Our Commander in Cheif.....well.....God help us all.....
Did you happen to see the statement Ms Clinton made this morning? Made me want to . And to think she could be the next President if our country lasts that long. |

I think that dislike stalker needs to speak up and explain to us what part of these comments deserves the dislikes. I have not read one comment that defends Obama or Bergdahl, yet someone is obviously opposed to the negative comments against them.
I wouldn't put much stock in the "like"/"dislike" buttons anyway. I have a "dislike" stalker who would dislike my comments, regardless of their content. If I said "God bless America" she would hit dislike. Ignore them. If you react, then they are amused, but if you don't react, they don't get as much satisfaction. I'm pretty sure I have one too! hahaha I guess I have one too!
Oh, I'm pretty sure I have one too, I'm sure it's the same person dislike stalking all of us, and I'm pretty sure I know who it is. It's just amusing, that's all. Sometimes I like to see just how many dislikes I can get, just for some entertainment. |

Who gets to make that decision? Bergdahl still belongs to his unit. It will be up to the Battalion commander to start the procedure. I hope he has to get in line. Fatchance, do you think it will happen? There are two courses of action the military can take, one is a court martial, the other choices, a Bad conduct discharge or dishonorable discharge. The later of the two would mean he get's nothing from the military and no benifits. Those usually come with prison time. I don't see that happening unless they can prove he gave them military locations to hit. IMHO the military wants to take it to him, but they have to go by the book. My husband and I talked about this last night...and he said he would have used every inch of his power to take this guy down, the battalion commander that had him is now long gone, but Mitch felt he would be calling the current commander of the unit with first hand information.
IF military action doesn't take place to Bergdahl, if I was one of the surviving spouses, siblings, parents, etc of the six who lost their lives being sent out looking for him... I would be getting a lawyer.

I do take exception to the member's of Congress squalling because they weren't notified before the hand off. I suppose they wanted to debate it for a few weeks. They couldn't get anything done without debate even if their pant's were on fire!
We have three branches of government, not a dictatorship. The three branches were designed as a safety net to guard against decisions being made by a power hungry ruler. This absolutely should have gone through Congress and it would have been shot down, I am betting. |

These 5 guys sound like very high level Taliban operatives. To me, that is very conspicuous. Obama would need intelligence to do this and we all know Obama doesn't have any intelligence and has himself surrounded by a ship of fools.
I truly believe Obama is not on our side. This was probably planned a long time ago. Clint Eastwood said it best when he said Obama was the greatest hoax ever seen played on the American people. It is a planned and plotted course of action to take America down. |

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | The White House has apologized to Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) for failing to alert her in advance of a decision to release Taliban commanders from Guantanamo Bay.
Feinstein told reporters that she received a call from Deputy National Security Adviser Tony Blinken on Monday evening apologizing for what the administration is calling an “oversight."
"I had a call from the White House last night, from Tony Blinken, apologizing for it,” she said.
“He apologized and said it was an oversight,” she added.
Feinstein also said leaders of the House and Senate Intelligence panels were almost unanimously against a prisoner trade when it came up in 2011.
She said the chairmen and ranking Republicans of the “connected committees” spent a lot of time in 2011 reviewing the possibility of a prisoner swap and came out firmly opposed to releasing senior militants from the prison camp at Guantanamo Bay.
“There were very strong views and they were virtually unanimous against the trade,” she said.
“I certainly want to know more about whether this man was a deserter,” she said of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who was released to American special forces in return for the freedom of five senior Taliban commanders.
Administration officials have said in public that they did not have time to inform Congress of the prisoner swap because Bergdahl’s life was in danger and they did not know how long the Taliban would be willing to wait to finalize the deal.
So from that I gather that Obama made an end run around congress not because there wasn't any urgency...but rather because he Already KNEW that the vast majority of congress was against trading high profile terrorists for this guy. Nice...and not at all a surprise.

Yes. This is a Nation of Laws. Laws that the current CinC seems to think he can just pick and choose his way thru. He will make sure that Bergdahl doesn't have to face Court Martial. And if he does go to UCMJ hearings/trial, then it's all rigged already. The key witnesses will be found dead for one reason or another... B0/BS needed a feel-good story to get the VA issue off the front page. I could go on and on about personal experience with military and VA healthcare, but this isn't about that. Other than Bergdahl is the newest/latest/shiniest distraction at the moment.
I find it kind of funny that his hometown in Idaho WAS planning a Welcome Home parade & celebration. It's been cancelled before they could even set the date...

Read my signature. Some Dems even agree with those who feel the 30 day notice should have been given.
CONGRESS Dianne Feinstein Disappointed Lawmakers Not Given 30-Day Notice on Bergdahl Swap The Senate Intel Committee chairwoman says the administration has apologized for not giving her a heads up. (Mark Wilson/Getty Images) June 3, 2014 Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein took at shot at the Obama administration on Tuesday for failing to give lawmakers 30 days' notice about a deal to release five Taliban prisoners from Guantanamo Bay in exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the only POW from America's war in Afghanistan. "It's very disappointing that there was not a level of trust sufficient to justify alerting us," Feinstein told reporters in the Capitol. A defense bill that President Obama signed into law in December 2013 requires that Congress be notified 30 days ahead of releasing prisoners from Guantanamo Bay. Feinstein said that National Deputy Security Adviser Tony Blinken called her Monday night "apologizing" for failing to notify lawmakers sooner. "He apologized for it and said it was an oversight," Feinstein said. When asked whether he used the word "oversight," Feinstein clarified: "In so many words, I can't say. That was my impression." While the California Democrat says "the president certainly has an executive authority that he can use," she also wants to know whether Bergdahl was a deserter, and she wants to know the terms of the deal with the Qatari government, which has pledged to keep the Taliban prisoners for a year. There will be a briefing Tuesday for Intel Committee members, and a closed Senate Armed Services Committee hearing next Tuesday about the swap.In December, Obama issued a signing statement that said the executive branch should have the flexibility "to act swiftly in conducting negotiations with foreign countries regarding the circumstances of detainee transfers." The administration has defended the prisoner swap, pointing to the signing statement as a clear indication that Congress was put on notice, and that lawmakers knew for a long time about the possibility of such a swap. "We have consulted with Congress for quite some time about the possibility that we might need to execute a prisoner exchange in order to recover Sergeant Bergdahl," Obama said in Poland on Tuesday morning. "We saw an opportunity. We were concerned about Sergeant Bergdahl's health. We had the cooperation of the Qataris to execute an exchange, and we seized that opportunity. And the process was truncated because we wanted to make sure that we did not miss that window." House Armed Services Committee Chairman Buck McKeon has already pledged to hold hearings on the prisoner swap, saying his "impression" is that the president broke the law when he failed to give notice. Feinstein conceded that op position to the deal could have been one reason lawmakers weren't notified. "But the White House is pretty unilateral about what they want to do when they want to do it," she added.

Did you watch O'Reilly last night. He has an insider at the White House (no name divulged) who says that since Obama has lost his popularity and doesn't see the changes he had in mind coming about, that Obama's just gone rogue and is bent on doing anything he wants to do.
I see a very dangerous and disturbing two more years of his presidency. |

HotbearLVR - 2014-06-03 11:41 PM I think it's entirely possible that, since Obama is a lame duck president, the strategy is to have him do anything possible to shift the focus away from the one topic that leaves Democrats up for election this fall most vulnerable: ObamaCare. The more outrage, the more the focus is shifted away from the constant drip-drip-drip of the disaster called ObamaCare.
That's interesting. The same thing happened to another famous tyrant from the 20th century, Adolf Hitler. He started to lose his mind too, when things didn't go as planned. |

That he walked off and left his military sensitive items and mailed all his personal stuff home months earlier. Plus I dont know if it real or not because I dont believe everything I read on the internet but according to what I read the Pentagon ruled him a deserter a year after he disappeared. |

One firmly believes he sold out their positions and daily routines because of precise attacks that came about after Bergdahl left.

He said something like it's his job as commander in chief (barf) to make sure all the young people who volunteer for the military come home safely no matter what the circumstances. The problem is he forgot to mention the six soldiers who were killed looking for this deserter. These families also wanted their children to come home safely. There were other ways to get Bergdahl home. Obama's passion is to free all Gitmo prisoners. The idiot Harry Reid confirmed this. |

Yea - and he certainly has done an excellent job up that over the years - The leading reason to snatch him out of there and let 5 prisoners walk a few days ago was this individuals health - guess CNN blew that http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=Bergdahl+health&FORM=ASMMVR#view=detail&mid=C4A14CA8E83DAE0386C0C4A14CA8E83DAE0386C0 Now spinning it to do with him being in increased danger if he was not rescuded immediately. This is so very sicking. Oh Obama - where is this transparancy you spoke of???????????????? Pulled a fast one on the sheeple. While I rant - it pi***** me off that this peron's father spoke to him in a lauguage other than English in the Rose Garden. Forgot the English language in 5 years - really???????????????

I couldn't agree more and now this administration is coming up with a whopper of a story to cover themselves. All of this is getting real old and it's time we have a real, true, love of country back in the Whitehouse before this country is destroyed. |

Location: relocated to Texas | Watching the documentary about Hitler, the comparisons between his rise and how he manuipulated the German people, and what Obama has/is doing to manipulate the sheepies in this country, are sobering. I have never understood how someone like Hitler could convince a nation to turn a blind eye to mass murder. He had a loyal "spin doctor" who was a master at public relations and spoon fed lies to the German people. His lunacy destroyed that country. Fast forward to 2014 and the Obama spin machine is managing to do the same to the great United States. People in this country need to wake up before it is too late.
And Bibs, that is exactly what I was trying to say. I believe Obama and his campaign was/is funded by his friends in the Middle East. Give me another reason how a Jr. no-name senator from Illinois out funded the well established Clinton machine. Obama raised more money for his campaign than any candidate in history and like everything else this Administration does, the genesis for much of those funds is a mystery. |

How else do you explain this man's arising out of nowhere, to grab the most powerful position on the planet, with virtually no noteworthy accomplishments? How does someone win a Nobel Peace Prize from reading some ideas on a teleprompter? How does someone persuade congress to pass such a "transformational" law as ObamaCare when the vast majority of citizens are against it even though he harmed countless millions with his lies and assurances in persuading people they could keep their plan and their doctor? The only force powerful and evil enough to accomplish these things is Satan. |

How can this be? My answer: history repeats itself. Evil forces are at work. "Dislike" this, if you dare. There you go, Doc... they did "Dislike" your comment. I called them out earlier to come tell their side, but I guess they must not feel that strongly about what they believe about this subject and, instead, continue to hide behind that ole "Dislike" button!! We just need to Ignore the "nut case"! Relax, it wasn't the "disliker". It was me! LOL I didn't want her to feel alone. How do you know its a her, could be a he. Because there are only about 4 guys who regularly come on BHW and only one of them loves Obama, but he isn't afraid to own his words. This person obviously is afraid.
You are so wise, I forgot about that one fella and he has not been on here in a really long time. So you have got to be right. Its a she, now only if this cowardly she would just pop in and let us know why she loves the ways of this horrible creepy devil. |

Location: oklahoma | Not shocking to say the least but Fox News is reporting that this traitor converted to Islam, et al while in 'captivity.' This all, I'm sure, was orchestrated from the start because as srs on here told me once, 'nothing is as it seems.' That has come true more than once since she told me that a few years ago. |

"Nothing is as it seems" may well apply here, as I suggested earlier. |

It is also up to the Army to say "Bergdahl is ours", And stand ground. |

We can pray that they do a better job at holding the higher ups responsible, more so than the Benghazi affair. I have my doubts since Obama was so , almost eager, to release the worst of the worst in the Taliban. My ex was in the army, retired now but I remember when Clinton was in office and desecrated and was so very disrespectful to us and the office, and he wouldn't say a word. I know that they can't, he's their commander in chief. He continually lets them and us down. His will be done isn't the same as our sometimes but if I was asked, I'd like for him to be tried, convicted of treason and spend his remaining days in Leavenworth. (Sorry so long :) |

I assure you CurlyQ, this household understands. Treason is not going to be in the cards. Our hope is he is given a dishorable discharge (no prison time due to time served), and we the people no longer give him a check and or VA benefits...for what that is worth.
The Clinton years, we lived them abroad, not a fun time. |
