| Now this was found last night in a old Milking Parlor.... i did some research on it this morning and discovered what it was but my husband and i were making some pretty poor guesses!! Anyone want to guess what it is without googling it?!
The back is flat and it reads
Dr S.H. Thompson Sterial Tube Patented 1922

I just googled the specific details of the patent and it came right up. That's plenty fun though. Interesting idea and what they had to deal with differently because of those sort of issues.
