Has anyone noticed on their Tammy Fischer Circle Y Treeless saddle that the biothain strap/buckle that the stirrups hang from is tearing or has torn? I noticed this on my saddle this past weekend, on both sides. The saddle is only about 17 months old. I normally wouldn't have noticed this, so you might want to check this if you have one of these saddles. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what you did to fix it. Did you have to send it back to Circle Y to get it fixed?

I will call Circle Y and see what they have to offer. I'll have to check around for a local saddle shop and see if they would replace them. Did it effect how the stirrups hung or swung after changing out the biothane to leather?

Circle Y said they would replace the biothane with leather if I send it down to them. About one week turn around once they have it. Now... finding a time when I can be without it!

I saw someone with the same saddle at an event two weeks ago and asked the same question to them. They flipped theirs over and showed me the leather. Said she was a friend of Tammy's and Circle Y was replacing them but she didn't know if there was a charge. Do you have to send the entire saddle or just the fenders? Are they going to charge you?

Sorry I don't know if the change to leather affects how the stirrups hang........I purchased one a year ago and sent it back right away (sadly didn't give it a chance)........and recently purchased one again I am keeping, and this one has the leather. I do think it is a little more comfortable where the two pieces of fender come together

I asked Circle Y how much it would cost and he said there probably wouldn't be any charge. (Obviously this has been an issue since they are now using leather instead of the biothane.) I assume I would have to pay to/from shipping. I never thought about just shipping them the stirrup fenders instead of sending them the whole saddle. That is a great idea!
