| I want to buy a weanling or yearling in the next few years something I can know the complete history on and can work with from the beginning as I have been burned on horses with unknown or abusive history and I don't want to go there again!
I am looking for something with a great disposition first and foremost. No buck, kick, bite, rear etc not hot something pretty easy going and easy to train. Something that is smart but not so smart it's trouble. With conformation built to last, good feet. Something that can be competitive in barrels doesn't have to be a 1D or rodeo type but can compete and be fun in local competition but can also go chase cows or go out on a trail ride. I am a quiet soft rider and like my horses to be the same.
I know every horse is an individual and a lot is how they are handlef and brought along but to help narrow it down or give me an idea of which horses might be what I am looking for what lines tend to produce what I want? Open to running, cow, or foundation. |

| I would go with a Fire Water Flit bred baby. There are quite a few nice sons of his producing really nice babies. |

Location: Peg-Leg Julia Grimm | Actually the better known bloodlines are that way because there is a lot of success with them. They mesh with a lot of people. I have mares by FG, Firewater Finale, Captain Biankus, Oregon Barry Biankus, 2 by Judge Cash and am breeding them to a son of Jet Of Honor. All are known to be nice minded and have a lot of athletic ability. But the mare that puts some really talented, kind, and good minded babies on the ground by my stud is a cow/race cross granddaughter of Peppy San Badger.  |

Location: Texas | My first down french babies are sweet, affectionate, polite..I love them! I sold my yearling colt and he was easy easy easy to halter break. He hadn't loaded in a trailer since he was a weanling and hopped right in his new owner's trailer. My filly is a sweet heart too. i loooove her.
I also recommend firewater ta fame. User friendly! My colt let me put a halter on him with no problems and he is totally a people pleaser. Very friendly colt and will greet us in the pasture no matter how far away he is. |

Location: Texas | I will also add… I have a 3 year old rock solid jess filly out of a daughter of first down dash. She has an excellent mind. Very mature and easy going. Friendly too. I don't know how fast she's going to be but she sure works a nice pattern. I'm excited to run her next year. |

I should add that El Scorcho is a Streakin Six son out of a daughter of Tinys Gay, who is out of a daughter of Three Bars. So, my real answer is I vote for the Streakin Six line. The foals I've had from him meet all of your critieria. |

| I have a Special Leader/Streaking Six stud and his colts are so nice . They have been easy to train want to turn and run. The babies are friendly from day one which I like. I like the Streaking Six line seem to be real pleasers for the most part, we had an own son that a guy bought and he uses his colts on movie sets because they will train so easy and take all the commotion well. |

| To end up with what you describe ..........>>> the new owner needs to have a good feeding and training program and know what conformation is needed to be competitive with speed and agility genes bred into the colt to be competitive over the next 15 years ....
