Undercover Amish Mafia Member Posts: 9992 Location: Kansas	this is a friend of mines mare.....She was caught up in barbwire. Right front hoof, it looked like it was getting better a few days ago and now it looks as though there is proud flesh. Treatment?

I just put vetericyn on it until it started healing from the inside and seemed to open up on the surface more. Then I worried about the proud flesh and read up on it. Then I started puting corona on it too to keep her skin moist so it could grow back together. She ended up with a tiny spot of proud flesh that I just about have gone now. Granulex is supposed to work on that too.
