That is my thought too. Why is he sore? Some of mine get that way if we get lots of spring rains and the grass grows fast. Its really full of sugar and causes body soreness in my old man. Everyone else it just makes them fat and sassy. We've been blessed with nice spring rains so far and I'm having to limit the 3 I'm hauling. 1 because of body soreness/tying up and 2 of them because they're pigs. I did start my old guy on Vit E/Selenium.

My mare would get sore all over due to arthritis in her hocks and neck and she would compensate. I used Previcox with her which helped and joint injections. Make sure your saddle is fitting correctly and your horse isn't compensating due to a problem somewhere. You want to find out what's causing it instead of masking a problem that could get worse.

Don't know. He's ten. Turned out since sept. Started light riding this sitting. Maybe two weeks worth. Then off two more weeks till vet. Right in neck. I think that's the cribbing. Back sore. Said that's mainly conformation. His topline is not great.
I asked about potential disease. He said no. I asked about to rich off feed. He said not that either. Only thing I can figure is just chiro needs. He does run like an idiot

I would go to a different vet if yours is making no offer to diagnose what is causing the soreness. And only declaring, "yes, he is body sore." Dang near about anyone can tell you that.
