With God all things are possible

| The act of raising our eyes and mouthing words of PRAISE to God is essential to our Spiritual life. Dear friends, God is looking for people to praise Him. Jesus said, " The true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth ; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshippers. John 4:23
In the midst of praising our Lord and Savior, our lives are transformed in several ways. First and foremost , our spirits become intimately connected to His. As we lift our voices , extolling His name and deeds, we are invaded by His presence. "But You are holy, O You Who dwell in praises Psalm 22:3 God abides within us when we praise Him! Second , when we praise God our fears are allayed. Psalm 56:10-11 says "In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid." There is no room for fear where praise has taken up residence.
Third, praise changes our outlook as we view our world through the eyes of our Creator. " Praise the Lord from heavens. let praise the name of the Lord, for he commanded and they were created" Psalm 148:5-1 Suddenly ,when we see things from the perspective of the One who made and sustain the entire universe, the cares of this world grow dim. Fourth, praise vanquishes our enemy. 2 Chronicles 20 tells the story of when Jehoshaphat, king of Judah was faced with a vast army coming against him . He prayed to the Lord, " We do not know what to do, but our yes are upon you. The people bowed down and worshiped the Lord. The next morning, Jehoshaphat appointed his men to sing to the Lord and praise His name. They went out into the front lines, ahead of the army, saying " Give thanks to the Lord, for His love endures forever. The result? Not only was that days' foes vanquished, but for the remainder of Jehoshaphat's reign, God gave him rest on every side. And finally , our love for God is deepened when we adore Him and give Him thanks for past blessings. It is then we are reminded that for as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is the measure of our Father's love. After the sun rises but before you approach God with you daily petitions, get into the praise mode, reminding Him and yourself, how terrific He really is, how awed you are to have Him in your life, how blessed you are that He came down to earth to save you. Drench yourself in the words of praise amid the Psalms. Sing a familiar worship song at the top of your lungs! Have no reservations as you come into His presence , glorifying HIs name. And as you speak to your Creator, through His Word, He will speak to you. I ARISE TODAY, THORUGH GOD'S WORD TO SPEAK TO ME. HOW GREAT THOU ART.
All of your days have already been written in God's book. When you go through a disappointment, don't stop on that page. Stay the course. KEEP BELIEVING. You may be tired, discouraged and frustrated, but don't give up on your future, OUR GOD IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL

| Two things I look forward to each day is reading from the Bible and reading your message here. Have you ever thought of compiling a book of these messages and having it published. I know I have saved some of them and refer back to them from time to time, but to have a book of them would be great. Thanks for caring enough to share with us. | |
