| Hypocrisy Much? Clintons Took Pains To Avoid Taxes They Publicly Support 283 Shares By Michael Hausam 12 hours ago
According to Bloomberg, in 2010 the Clintons changed the ownership status of their New York home, which they bought in 1999 for $1.7 million, to take advantage of current estate tax rules. What they did is divide the ownership into two separate trusts that pass to on to Chelsea after 10 years. After that period they will have to pay rent to her, but any growth in the value of the home remains outside of their estate. And thereby limit estate taxes. Doesn’t everyone do that if they have the financial wherewithal? Isn’t it the responsible thing to do? Of course and of course. But on the other hand, not everyone uses their bully pulpit to publicly support estate taxes. This is exactly what the Clintons have done. Consider these facts: Hillary supported capping the estate tax exemption and increasing the top rate to 45% in her last campaign for President. In 2007 she said “The estate tax has been historically part of our very fundamental belief that we should have a meritocracy.” She also said that without the state tax, the country could become “dominated by inherited wealth.” Bill vetoed a proposal to repeal the state tax in 2000. At the time he said that keeping the estate tax was an issue of “fiscal responsibility and fairness.” In other words, do as we say, just not as we do. Share ( 283 shares ) |

I know it wasn't a surprise to you. I find it very aggravating. Look how many Congressmen have gotten away with not paying taxes. It's a complete joke. |

To me, they seem more like aliens from another planet, and I'm quite certain they feel the same way toward people like me. I have to keep reminding myself that they just can't help it. My Rotweiler is almost human in some respects, but she loves to lick her genitals but I can't lick my genitals, just like I can't appreciate the things that a liberal progressive appreciates. |

She's got to wait until Rachel Maddow discusses it on her show or read a blog in the Huff to get an opinion on this topic. |

| Was it NBC that did the poll I don't remember but it concluded that if she ran today or like yesterday she would lose and if she ran against Mitt Romney she wold lose. I dont know why they did it against Mitt Romney because he has said he won't run again but he is starting to pop up a lot here and there. |

Absolutely Ted Cruz.
There is some question about his citizenship. I believe he was born in Canada. |

I like him but I'm a realist...He is too far to the right and probably could be elected for Governor of Texas but in the rest of the United States, it's not going to happen. It is what it is. Too many people want to be taken care of in the New America. JMHO |

Unless you have already drank the kool-aid;
Do a search on;
Dominionism and Dominion Theology
and see if this is the path you would have Ted and his Father lead us down. Pretty scary stuff and if you are female, it is even scarier.
Our only Hope is education and that is being threatened by the above terms. |

Well I have always thought Bill's taste in women sucks but that is another subject. No really I would like to know why you think she would make a good President. Your posts have been so thoughtful today. |

Hillary for President-2016, I'm all in: ) It does not irk me that someone has different beliefs than I do, as long as everyone is making and informed and educated decision. It does irk me to see an interview where people on the street are asked why they would vote for a specific person whether dem or republican and they cannot answer a single current event question that relates to their candidate of choice. The press irks me how they pick and choose what to report and how to present each candidate.

A true Constitutionalist could never support Dominionism...Ted Cruz has so far proved to be a true Constitutionalist. I personally know many people who have immigrated to the United States & all of them support the Tea Party...another interesting fact, a large majority of the young, educated, Navajo's are preparing to assert their Consitutional Rights...they are sick & tired of living in a socialist state. This includes the gay & lesbian crowd...they're liking Ted Cruz & company more every day in spite of the far right leanings, they feel the TP will protect their inalianable rights. People are tired of being used. It is interesting indeed! |

To me, there's no mystery as to why Hillary is still married to Bill. It's a wise political strategy. It is a form of human commensalism. Hillary hitched her wagon to Bill's political wagon and rode it all the way to where she is today. Like Obama, Hillary rose to the level of US Senator not because of an impressive resume', rather it was because enough people liked the idea of another Clinton rising up through the ranks. Bills peccadillos enabled her to become a poor downtrodden victim. Hillary is like a cattle egret that sits on a cow's back and picks bugs bugs and scabs off it's ass and eats them. The cow benefits from her pickings and the bird gets her food off the cow's ass.
This is a perfect illustration of the Clinton relationship. I have a feeling Michele Obama will also pick this play from the Clinton playbook. Another powerful driving force behind Hillary will be the romanticized notion of Hillary breaking through that "glass ceiling" that is becoming a cliche'......this idea of the " first woman president" appeals to low information voters. This is far more appealing than actual accomplishments and noteworthy merit. Simple minded people are easily swayed by things like this. Ironically, Bills victims and bimbos have played a vital role in Hillary's quest. Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Kathleen Willy, and Monica Lewinski have been a godsend for Hillary. As the 2016 election draws near, more and more we will hear of the so-called "war on women". |

          Location: Bastrop, Texas | I'd like to add that I would love to see a woman as president, but that doesn't mean the standards ought to be lowered. I'll be damned if I am going to vote for someone on the basis of his/her genitals. Gender shouldn't be a significant factor just because of some "glass ceiling" alone....Lord knows we've had a president with no balls for the past 5 years. I can think of several women who are qualified candidates.....Hillary, in my opinion, is not even on my "short list". She's Obama in a pant suit....although, I do think she has more balls than Obama. |

                    Location: In the Hills of Texas | I totally agree with HBL. Everything Hillary has done has been nothing but a political move. The same people that voted for Obama because he was black will vote for Hillary because she's a woman. I wish they would look back and see how well the first move to vote in a black president worked out for them..
Hillary is already playing from Bill's play book and has moved to the right on the issue of the illegals crossing over the border. She "claims" she would send them back and then added that she was sure many would be shocked with that statement. NO...the intelligent people know it was just a political move by moving to the center some just like Bill did to get re-elected. She will be just like Obama..Tell the people what they want to hear and then once you are in..Screw them and do the opposite. |
