Windsor Missouri is not known for having good rodeo ground but I entered it on a whim hoping that enough toughs would skip it and I could get lucky and place on Clifford. He seems to like little pens and shallow trashy ground doesn't bother him, but I still never expected to be winning the rodeo after Friday night. http://youtu.be/S6QmdOCFWC4We were 4th out and I kept waiting to hear a faster time but never did. We've not done well in the performances this year so this is hopefully our breakthrough moment. I have never liked little pens, but I just might have to change that opinion now that I have a horse who can clock in them. I'm still a little stunned to be leading the rodeo but no matter what happens over there tonight, I am very proud of my big red baby.

Yes and YES!!!!!!! (I am squealing with excitement) I think the fastest time tonight was a 14.3 from what I heard. I kind of stopped listening to the voice mail once I heard "you won." lol. That wild & crazy creature actually won a rodeo. Pretty sure I am still in shock. There were some really tough girls entered tonight and I was really just hoping to end up in the top 3. Winning it kind of made up for hitting two barrels and the fence tonight. lol.

We like center gates! And apparently little pens because we can stay focused long enough in them. (OK it is really because I don't have time to screw things up in a small pen)
