I recently bought a 4 year old colt out of Bill Cole and I don't know a thing about him and when I google him nothing comes up. Curious if anyone has any experience with the babies out of this stud. Thanks in advance!
I wondered where he went. I really did like his videos but was just a little far for me to drive at this time to go look at him. Please pm and let me know how he is doing, I think he could make a really nice horse. I know that veterinarian Larry Lentske in Meridian, Texas stood Bill Cole. He was a good looking horse. Your horse is a double bred Runaway Winner which past president of the AQHA ..... Jerry Wyndham ..... from College Station owned. Your colt ought to be able to fly with the Runaway Winner in the breeding. I don't know of any Bill Cole horses that are running barrels. I rode some really nice First Down Dash colts and I am totally in love with them. I think you have a really nice colt.
I have 2 Bill Coles. My first is an 8 yr old out of a Reckless Dash mare. I bought him as a late 5 yr old. This is his freshman year and he is consistently in the 1/2d. My other is a 6 yr old just getting started. I rescued him 3 months ago. I tried Pepsicole before Dee bought him. He was super quiet and sweet. My friend owns 3 and we compare notes all the time. They are super smart and athletic. They tend to be sensitive and really bond with one person.
My sister has a bill cole. His name is Strawflyin Bill he was purchased from leslie willis several years ago. It took a little work and the right rider but he just set the arena record at the Diamond 7 Arena in Dillsburg PA this saturday. Loves his job and my sister(his jockey) the quieter you ride the better he does. definately sensitive and in the wrong hands he could be a handful!Havent seen another close up but I have seen several listed on BHW for sale and the ones I saw were nice horses! Good Luck!
