Words have power. We can use words to heal or harm, lift or lower, teach or taunt.
Words spoken in deep love or deep hate set things in motion within the human heart that can never be reversed.
By the power of Godly words gain control of your tongue. Use your words to build up. Honor others by listening to them, praying before you speak, and responding in gentleness.
John 6:63 The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. and the very words I have spoken to your are spirit and life.
Jesus, I try and try, but my efforts accomplish nothing when I have not come first to You in prayer. I need to do things in Your strength for otherwise I am useless. I need Your power behind me when I speak. I need Your strength. Allow Your word to speak to me. Guide my way by our gentle voice. May my spirit and Yours become one this moment. Help me to do all things to bring glory and honor to You. AMEN
