| We do not have a lot of BBR races in my area and I am late to the game joining this year and am not familiar with BBR. I have emailed BBR for clarification, they answered my other questions but not this one. I read the rules and understand the 8 show requirement. I want to clarify that if it is a 3 day show, seperate race each day, you get 3 qualifications if you run all 3 days?? Do you get more than 1 qualification if you run more than one horse? Trying to see if I can get 8 shows in my the end of the year.

| They do, Winmore has one coming up in October, trying to plan my calendar I sure would like to go the finals in Oklahoma. |

Location: Red Raiderland | Everytime you run at a show you get one point per day per horse. So if you show up in Oct with 2 horses and run all three days you will earn 12 points. At a regular show, that's not a double qualifier you would earn 6 points. If you get the gold memebership you only have to have 6 points to qualify for the finals. I hope I'm not more confusing with my explanation. LOL

I think you are wrong....you are talking about "points" towards awards.....NOT number of show qualifications.....you have to participate in eight shows to qualify for the Finals. If the week-end has three shows, which pay individually, you would have 3 "qualifying shows". Additionally, running an extra horse does not count for qualifying shows but does towards year-end awards. |

Hmm, I know I don't get to too many BBR shows so I always go to the double points shows that Win$More has near the end of the year and I get 6 points for the weekend. I don't even pay attention to the award points because i don't go to enough shows. I just get my points that I need for the finals. I'll contact the boys and see what the deal is and update y'all or they can. I certainly don't want to give out incorrect info. |

Location: Texas | Im not 100 % sure but im gonna say no since YOU are qualifying not the horses. They will most likely see this and come on here and answer, if not call them! They may have just missed your question. Sometimes shows get approved last minute so keep watching the calendar. The finals are the best show I got to all year and I can't imagine another show being so much fun, plus I just love OKC, great location, I wish all the big shows were there! |

You do get double points for attending a double point show but they go toward your end-of-year points. Each show you enter counts as ONE show if you run 8 horses. |

Location: on a horse | To answer your question for "do I have time to qualify" I would definitely say yes. Don't know where exactly you are located but there are still a few double qualifiers that will 6 in one weekend then you will only need 2 more. You get 1 qualified show per day, doesn't matter if you enter 20 horses it is still just one per day. It is really pretty easy. |

Location: Oklahoma | I always look at the quailifers listed on the right side of the events schedule on their website. You just gotta becareful and make sure that you don't try and count an additional run that was for short go qualifiers only into your tally if you didn't make it.
I just joined a month ago... and have only hit 1 race so far! I know how you're feeling to be behind.. I'm trying to "plan out" the rest of my year and so far I can't make 8 since the full year's list isn't out yet.... and I hate to start hauling 2-3hours out right now when my gelding and I having issues. There are lots of BBR races in OK, but for some reason I can't find any that are close by!
You should probably go ahead and hit the Summer Shootout next month... ya know, to get your horse familiar with the arena and it's a double quailifer so you're guaranteed atleast 4 of your 8 runs and then an additional 2 more (6 total) if you make the short go on Sunday!  |

| Each show/day counts for one qualifier (as long as each day is a separate race), no matter how many horses you enter, unless it is a double qualifier show, then that doubles. So for a regular membership, that would be 8 shows and for Gold Card members, that would be 6 shows. Points are different than qualifiers - points count for year end awards and when entering multiple horses, you will receive full points for your highest placing horse, then the remainder of the horses enters, you would only receive base points.
Both Win$More and BBR have shows coming up this fall in Glen Rose, both being double qualifier and a double point shows.
