Its so hard to be around, but you do the best you can. I lost my dad to cancer and 3 years later my mom. Just try to be strong for her, you will have your moments of feeling sorry for yourself, I did, I hated to see the pain. My parents were really brave for us. Hugs to you..

I have had both sets of grandparents and almost every aunt and uncle battle some form of cancer in my family. I'm blessed to say prayers have seen them through and God's grace was sufficient for them all. They all have recovered and are living normal lives. I hope this is an encouragement to you and your mom. Mindset is everything I'm told. She Sounds like she's got this tho!

Praying for you, that everything goes well now.they did ask my mom if she wanted to go a trail study for chemo, she said yes...now they may have a problem with her kidneys,a little below normal,so she might not get to go on the trail study,he did say she has very strong heart.he said he had to see what her lab work shows now. |

All counts are down right now, because of the chemo.Today has been the hardest day so far for her,she has been cold and that's the one thing right now that is bugging her.She has only had two times feeling sick to her stomach.I have to wear gloves and face mask now because of her white count.I've been here with her for six days now total,I went home last Saturday cooked and cleaned the house and came back on Monday. She has a lot of swelling in her feet and she has arthritis in leg really bad.It has been kinda hard day for her today. The doctor is saying she doing good....thanks for all the prayers. |

I just saw this and read thru. Several days after chemo are usually the hardest. Just support her and let her know how important it is to have that great positive attitude. She may not feel like eating much but find what ever taste good to her and let her eat it. I don't care if it's M&M's. |

The whole time my mom was in the hospital, my sister and I took turns saying with her, was not easy sleeping in a chair but we got it done, she was in the hospital for almost 1 1/2 months I think it was. Your such a good person to be there for your mom like this, hugs to you |

This is AWESOME NEWS.... I know that you would rather that it all be gone and I understand that but take the little steps and be greateful for them... a few more weeks of chemo is worth it...
sounds like your mom is holding up good and starting to eat which is great... weight and motivation is a HUGE key in KICKING CANCER...
stay POSITIVE... even when it's hard...
I want to give you a BIG HUG..... BOTH OF YOU...

Location: Flat Rock,IL | She has not been feeling good for three days now. Having chills, running a fever. Doctor is worried about her kidneys right now, they are below normal, but he thinks the trouble might be the antiboitics she is on. She woke up early in the morning sick. Doctor is gong to do a chest X- Ray, to make sure nothing going on. Also, more labs to check her organs. |
