Neat Freak Posts: 11216 Location: Wonderful Wyoming	my gelding was out in his pelvis and after the adjustment, he rests his hind legs one after the other. Normal?

I just read the headlines Posts: 4483	If he was really out, he may be muscle sore. I know when my chiro adjusts me I will be sore for 1 or 2 days and she tells me to take an advil if I need to. I have also had chiros tell me to give a gram of bute after they adjust one who was really out.

I just read the headlines Posts: 4483	call and ask your chiro what she thinks, but it sounds like he really needed an adjustment and is just sore. She/he may have something you could do to make him more comfortable, meds or stretches or exercises.

My gelding had the same thing going on and his SI was out bad. You have probably read the gazillion posts I have made about him lately. He was tender for a few days but it went away. I do not remember his leg resting pattern though.

Neat Freak Posts: 11216 Location: Wonderful Wyoming	he looks to have quit doing it after just an hour. I wonder if he didn't just feel funny. Would that being out make him buck? It was his left side out and he bucked me off when I asked him to lope to the left in a round pen. He properly warned me he wasn't happy with tail swishing and carrying his head strangely.
