My baby has been deployed to Kuwait. I asked him if there was anything he needed. He asked me to send him spray bottle fans... 30 of them. Cheapest I've found are nearly $10.00 each (before shipping them) I guess he wants to share. Well my friend Kathy Petit has gotten 20 of them donated so far. If any of you could find it in your hearts to help get the last 10. I and his unit would be greatly appreciative.
Many of you know of my woes in the last year. I am better with my breast cancer and the last of my surgeries. All of which have taken a toll on my pocket book. If I could I would buy them all myself and make sure all in his unit were taken care of. BUT since I'm unable to do it all alone I'm reaching out to those that care.

Yes she got the money and so far she has enough for the shipping and I'm not sure how many batteries she can buy but I know she can buy some. Thank you for your help

LRQHS - 2014-07-11 12:03 PM Am I right that you still could use more batteries for the fans?
Yes batteries are still needed we have enough for about 1/2 the fans. We are actually going to put $5.00 in each fan for the batteries as it is really hard to ship them. The soldeirs can buy batteries at the PX.. I think that's what it's called (px) lol.. My son talks so much in alphabet soup I never know what he's talking about.

Suzi - let me check on the batteries.
Aaron ( my son's brother by another mother and fellow SOF JTAC) said it was 120 degrees with sand storms daily. How ironic he went to Kuwait with your son.
I will pay for any shipping that is not covered.
God Bless our service men and women and the families that love them. :)

Phxbarrel - 2014-07-15 4:41 AM There are military pen pals?
Yep! Kids used to be taught to put pen to paper and actually write letters. Then they did this thing called addressing a letter and putting a stamp on it. It went through a place called the post office. After 3-4 weeks the kids would get a letter back in the mail!...
