Location: New Sharon, IA | My daughters mount that qualified her for youth world has come down with some sort of neurological/vision issues last week and so she had to jump on one of my horses that she has never ridden before. She is only 10 and this horse is a POWERHOUSE but she ran him this weekend at our local show and did very well with him. He really took care of her. Just asking for good thoughts that their runs at youth world go well! It is not easy for an adult to jump on a new horse and go to such a big race in a week let alone a 10 year old kid going to youth world for the first time ever! Here are some pictures from their runs this past weekend.

Location: Central Iowa, surrounded by corn! | This is my Granddaughter by marriage and I could not be more proud if she carried my blood in her veins!! She had never even been around a horse before her Dad met my Daughter! She is an absolute natural and this just proves the power of a girl bonding with a horse! She was the most shy quiet little girl and now she is the popular girl at school because she is the only one of her circle of friends that rides horses and goes "Fast"!!! |
