Where have you had the best luck finding Jr Rodeo Queen clothes - size 12 or 14? Our daughter is participating this year so needs an interview outfit and showmanship outfit. Nothing over the top, it's a relatively laid back contest but the girls still dress nice.

There are several rodeo queen clothes pages on FB to pick up some deals on used items. Type in rodeo queen clothes in search bar. And queen clothes. Most you have to ask to join the group. Good luck!

The FORT Western Wear has white jeans--think they are Cruel Girl that are meant to be dyed. I think they are listed as pageant jeans. Google white Justin Ropers and spray paint them to match the jeans. Striking and not too costly. Those white boots are usually on sale pretty cheap somewhere. If you don't like the color or need them for next year--get a different color of spray paint!

FYI on jeans..Please check your pageant rules. Some require certain brands. State level pageants are affiliated with PRCA so Wranglers are required (huge sponsors).

Yes to painting boots! Boots, jeans, and belts should MATCH for the pageant..unless it's a fashion forward outfit. Take a swatch to Home Depot and have them scan it then mix you a sample size. Unless she needs a light color, I just get good used boots off of ebay..Black are plentiful and cheap. If she can wear men's sizes they are even cheaper..I can usually find for less than $25 shipped. Pull on ropers for horsemanship. Pointed toe higher heel boots for other outfits. Always leather sole. Always black the bottoms! Again..I suggest checking individual pageant requirements!

You can buy leather belts on ebay with the snaps to switch buckles for $6..I was looking today! Hats..always felt. Always clean and properly shaped!

Interview and appearance jackets - check thrift stores for nice blazers then embroider and bling. With everything..neat, pressed, well tailored is the key!
