What is the general consensus at this time on Jackie and Tammy saddles they have been out there for a couple of years now I need to get a treeless saddle. I have always used a Bob Marshall but the last one I ordered I hate it slips all over. Soa I am debating on what I need to do next. Bob Marshall versus Jackie versus Tammy saddles
I got a Tammy because I could not find a treed saddle to fit my horse. I absolutely love it. I have not had any issues with it other than that I had to get special stirrup leathers made because my legs are so short.
It fits my horse great and helps me out a lot because he is a hard turning little guy.
The Jackie does not have as deep of a seat as the Tammy so that is personal preference.

Can you explain about your special stirrup leathers? I'm also very short. My inseam is a 28".
I have a Jackie wide fit I bought because I couldn't find a saddle to fit my horse. I haven't ridden in it very much and have never run in it.
Circle Y literally made me leathers that have no fender on them. Its just a leather strap with a buckle and holes so it can go as short as I need it too. I also noticed that not having the fenders made it a lot easier for my and my horse to communicate.

Thanks for that info. Sounds like a way to go. I bought a used one and the biothane has to be replaced on them anyway.

I have owned several. Both the Tammy and Jackie. I don't run in them anymore because I myself ride like crap in one. However, I have been very pleased with all the ones I have owned. I prefer the Jackie. I still own one. I ride in it when my back is hurting really bad.

Could you be using to thick of a pad with your Bob marshall that is causing it to slip?
