Do all of your hrses stand square on their front legs when resting? I have a gelding who we have been rehabbing. When the injury first occured he constantly pointed his left toe. We have been given the all clear to go back to riding and conditioning. But I notice he still stands with his left foot in front of his right foot most of the time. Does not appear to be a pain thing, but it is definitely noticable. Do you think this can be a habit that he formed from when it was painful, or should I be concerned and take him back for yet another recheck? He does not seem to be off when riding or moving.

Our 19 year old mare will point her left leg. She has arthritic knees and we assume fetlocks as well. This is her last 5 or 6 races of her career so we have been babying her and injecting her as needed to keep comfortable.
