Location: Where I am happiest | Looking to get a new 4 horse mid range trailer. I need a slide out in the LQ and lots of storage. Would also prefere a oven in the kitchen area plus the cook top and double sink. What is your favorite and why? Looking to stay under $100k. |

Location: Buffalo, TX | Obvioulsy my favorite is Platinum...LOL...the price will depend on the length of short wall you want and the quality of LQ...do you want hardwood like Alder, Oak, Hickory?...that costs more.....Platinum, Elite, 4-Star will be higher priced, but I would try to stay with one of these high end brands for that much money or you will lose too much on resale.... |

Location: Oklahoma | I have to agree with Cindy. Quality wise you cannot go wrong with 4 Star, Platinum, or Elite. I work at the 4 Star manufacturing plant and I have worked for a dealer of Platinum. My preference obviously would be 4 Star for their quality. I have the luxury of seeing them being made every day and I know what the frames, etc. are like.... There is nothing done 1/2 way with a 4 Star.... The 3 brands listed above also have the best kept value and resale. As far as your specific needs and pricing, it's like Cindy said.... the wood type, short wall, amenities etc. are what drive the price up. There are also different conversion companies that can help with the cost. |

I really like the looks of the Logan coach living quarters. Mine isn't a LQ but I went through diamond h trailers in Idaho and he was really helpful.
Last I knew there was quite a wait to get one built. |

Location: Oregon | I paid just over $50,000 for my 2013 Platinum. Has an 11 foot SW. Doesn't have a double sink or a slide out or oven, so those will drive the price up just a bit, so I'm sure you can find one with those for under your budget. I cant complain one bit about mine, even without those extras! I love love love love it! The family that owns the dealership that I bought it through also are part owners of the Platinum brand, and they were super helpful in finding what I wanted and even gave me a price break on the trailer. They also helped immensely finding financing that worked for me. My parents bought a used 2001 Elite at the same time that I bought mine (from the same dealership as well) and theirs has had one or two minor issues, but nothing that cant be worked around/fixed easily. The problems that they did have would somewhat be expected in a trailer that is almost 15 years old though. Like the fridge decided to stop working maybe a month or so after they purchased it, so they called the dealership that they bought it through and they were more than happy to make it right for us, at no cost. The Elite has an Outlaw conversion and the Platinum has a Proline by Outlaw conversion. The Outlaw is a bit nicer, and the Proline is kindof their more budget friendly model. Still the same quality craftsmanship, just a few less extras. More base-line knobs and drawer pulls, light fixtures, etc. |
