I have rescued 2 WONDERFUL puppies from a rescue in Mississippi. The woman that runs the rescue from her home, usually has up to 70 dogs at any given time. She then drives these dogs to Wisconsin once every month or so for adoption events to get these poor dogs out of the south where there is basically no animal control whatsoever. Just last weekend she was able to adopt out 46 dogs up here!
Yesterday, just 12 hours after getting back home from the adoption event, a 3 month old puppy who had been hit by a car was dropped off at her house. She has 2 broken femurs. They can be fixed and she will lead a normal life after surgery, but the surgery is very pricey. They've already raised about 2/3 of the cost, there's just a little more to go before the surgery can happen! If you can spare a few bucks - even $1 - please consider! This is such a sweet puppy who deserves to know what's like to be loved and spoiled! I totally understand your concern! I know this woman personally. She is not in the business of scamming and I've been down to her house to see it all first hand! She does have a Facebook page and also a website if you'd like me to provide those as well!
