why do some people think it great form to be a foot out of saddle and doing the splits as your running home?
i cringe thinking ouch for the horse. just my thoughts |

        Location: Broxton, Ga | Agree....I don't......and I would post on Facebook but have too many friends that "air" time.........to me is is pain pain.........another one is the excessive body movements around the barrels...jerking snapping their bodies etc.....seems to more common with male riders.......just watch a few or even look on the cover of recent BHN.......... |

lol i was think of all the girls i see do that lotts in ga but nationwide to. all i can thonk of its all that wt coming down on the weakest part of a horse.
plus you don/t see the nfr girls or jockey do it , quiet is better but i not talking about the one in awhile but the ones that are non stop

Wha... What? I see Jockeys all the time with air under their butts.... but they stand in the stirrups through a race.. They don't bounce.... |

I don't get it. I always said the horses ran faster because the rider spent half the time off their back in the air, less weight to carry???? |

         Location: North Dakota | When I see riding like that I want to duct tape them down. It's bad riding and I feel bad for the horses. I really wish more people in not just the barrel racing community, but many western riders, would get some lessons in developing a good seat. A little dressage training would go FAR for all those horse/rider combos. |

I watch the jockeys on TBs and figure the weight is more evenly distributed across the saddle... |
