My sister just wrote this on Facebook and I just can't resist sharing... I know that many of y'all feel the same way.. "I am a firm believer that horses teach more about hard work, dedication, empowerment, and life lessons than any other animals. I am a huge cat lover but horses taught me so much more. So thank you to my mom and dad for buying me one <3Because of my horses, I can honestly say I learned to be pretty fearless, confident in all I do, (act confident even if I am not really!), have respect and compassion for all animals, know that I can do anything if I set my mind to it, I don't need the right friends or the right 'boy' to make me feel special. Also learned that no matter how tired or sick I am, I have to care for my horse first, have to muck stalls and clean tack if I want a healthy horse, have to buy the right feed to make them feel good, and not worry if someone turns their nose up because I live a more humble life than them. I have had a more fulfilled life than I could ask for, (almost) all because my parents trusted me with a horse <3
