Location: Toto...Im finally HOME!!! | After much frustration and a caldwell TG not fitting we have realized my saddle is Bridging on my geldings back? Any saddle pads out there that will fix this problem? |

Location: Somewhere between raising hell and Amazing Grace | If your saddle is bridging you need a different saddle. Not a different pad. That being said, there are some saddle pads and/or places that sell shims for that |

Location: North Dakota | I feel your pain. My sister's having trouble with that because her horse has *no* topline after having the whole fall/winter/early spring off. I've been messing around with shims for her so hopefully he can regrow some muscle, or at least keep him comfortable until she can get a new saddle. I know thinline and mattes make western pads with pockets for shims. I've been using a combination of felt and foam to try to make some. |

I feel you. Not sure how your pony is built, but the one I've been trying to shim has huge shoulders then no topline. And he's not even even on both sides. He's a wreck. I still say the thinline or mattes if you want to be able to customize your shimming arrangement. I know there are some bridging pads on like statelinetack. com and horsesaddleshop.com too that are cheaper, but not adjustable. As long as the saddle isn't too narrow anywhere, one of the aforementioned pads will hopefully help some. |

He is nicely built! That's why I'm frustrated but he is quid. So.... |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Do you have pictures of your horse? And maybe you need to talk to Double J saddlery, they have a saddle that is built for horses that have a dip behind their shoulders/ weithers, it the #10 tree it has more rock to it. I have one and love it.. |
