| Yay! Red Solo Cup, a colt we raised won his first race yesterday and ran a speed index of 91! We've sold several race prospects but none of them have gone on to sanctioned tracks where I could follow them. So I'm very excited to know where he's at and what he's doing. It was only a maiden race, but a win is a win! I still own a full sister and half sister to him, and I'm hoping to get to send them to the track myself when they are older. |

Congrats and I hope there are many more wins in your future. |

Ha ha! I saw that, too. Honestly I've never been to an actual race and I was wondering why he wasn't pulling him up. Then I thought that maybe that was typical after a race! Someday I'm going to make it to the tracks to watch. If all goes as planned I'll be sending a colt next year and I will finally find the time to go! |

Ive rode a bunch of them and it is a good feeling when they are still wanting to go strong after the wire. It means he was fit and had plenty left in him. The trainer had him ready.
I have a hard time going to the track anymore, it is just not the same sitting in the stands as it is being on a horse or on the backside getting one ready. But you should definitely go!!! It is an experience!! My favorite track of all time is Ruidosa. But I loved racing down at Delta Downs, it was a world of its own back in the day. LOL. |
