| There is one person on here that keeps listing nice horses for sale. She has a nice mare up for sale the only problem is she is about 1700 miles away from me. I have watch the video at least 10 times the mare sounds like what i am looking for and in my price range. I have been looking for the last month and rode some horses that are to be sound mind and confidence builder and are now way even close, up north here they seem to be far and few or way out of my price range. So do I take the chance? |

| I sold one by video, owner is very happy and keeps in contact through FB. I am a very honest seller, released all vet records, took the horse to vet of her choice from my area for a vet check. She had her xrayed from head to toe. |

| The mare is off this site, in someway i wish there were reviews on some people if you can trust them. I do know that they are horse dealers, but there are some honest one out there. |

| I've done it before and probably not again. It would of saved me a lot of money to buy a plane ticket and fly there to try the horse as well as be there for the vet check. I didn't see her problems in the video but once she arrived, I could clearly see she was off. I did my homework the best I could and it was a very reputable seller but in the end the horse had a lot of problems. It worked out and I love the mare but it costed me a lot to find out what her problems were.
Good luck on what you decide!!

| I have done it several times never had a problem. However I only buy 3 and 4 year old prospects. |

| I think with prospects and a seller willing to do a full vet exam/disclosure/X-ray, it would probably be okay.
For finished horses though, or even horses that are started on pattern, it would probably be better to get a plane ticket and go try the horse. There's enough chance for buyer remorse without skipping the test drive. |

| I think its pretty risky because a horse can be on paper exactly what you want and appear to ride how you would... but your styles could clash. Even if they seller is 100% honest, they cant guarantee you guys will get along. |
